No no, you alone were abducted!
And to cover it up, they imprinted you with some fancy dream stuff extracted from your subconscious whatever-you-got-there-thingus. And then you woke up in a distant and strange place, and the first thing abductees typically say is "Yeeees?", so that's what you said to the next innocent bystander...

Obvious: Tracking device. Just put something glitzy on a ring and they lose their wits... Works all the time...
