JasCapture -- JasCapture is the Windows portion of Jasc's (the
same makers of Paint Shop Pro) Profession Capture Systems client.
JasCapture allows you to press a hot key in order to easily catch
any client, window, image or specified area of the desktop and
either save it to disk, print it, or copy it to the clipboard. JasCapture
is extremely easy to use and comes with a complete set of help
documentation. Additional features include image processing for
converting images to black and white, grayscale, or inverted color;
configurable image sizing; and configurable options for capturing
images and/or printing images. Overall, JasCapture is a great tool
for importing images, icons, and additional graphics from your
desktop into graphics programs like Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop,
and Pagemaker. The only major drawback is its $69 price tag.
Positives: Quick and efficient screen capture utility, many
configurable options, easy to use
Negatives: It's very expensive at $69
