The very beautiful Katie Holmes was born on December 18th, 1978, in Toledo, Ohio. She wasn't like a lot of other actresses, she didn't start her love of acting until she was in high school. She began acting on stage, for school plays and she didn't think she had a chance of becoming a big star, but when she attended a modeling convention, that theory quickly became a whole new world. Her first debut movie was The Ice Storm.
