We run a constant webcam on the Spring with slides every 30 seconds and
continuous realaudio sound. Watch the pictures fly by and listen and
then comment here.
And tell us if the bugger isn't working.

Now this is me talking to Holly at Leightons party. I had a wonderful
time talking to her, and she was fascinating and animated. I grabbed
this picture off the webcam as it rolled by with a right mouseclick.

At that's Mr. Dedicated Margarita maker on the left.
I'm partially obscured by some purple floral object,
as you can see.
Now this is my room mate Kristen, who had a great time
talking to Mr. Healer. I think he's starting a website
called http://www.holistic.com

So you grab a cool pic. Make a comment. Ask about it.
You just don't know what you'll see next. Get me
pumped up with your comments and no telling what I'll
get inspired to put up there. True cinema veritie.

Now, this Gretchen is quite the magnetic lady
and an awesome dancer. Hope she makes the scene
at our party tomorrow. She's a regular at the
parties and events that I've been to lately.

$hit, yeah!
And I am spitefully witholding positive feedback, so:
It all looks disgustingly pleasant, and I hope you all have huge hangovers tomorrow.
SIGH
No, I'm being mean. Hope you all have a great time until the huge hangovers hit!

I just put in a new tape. I'm going to start switching between a lot of
different tapes from many different eras. Including my trip to the
Caymans, some stuff I shot 10 years ago when the spring was getting
started, some outrageous parties, and many events around Austin. And
we'll go live from time to time also.

Maybe I'll webcame the home construction today. We're building a 3,000 square foot "cathedral" in Cedar Creek, there will be at least a dozen carpenters arring in the morning and we're putting together the cornerpiece of the Spring Rooms rental strategy. It will feature an 18 x 36 kitchen and an 18 x 36 basketball court and game room / living room with a 20' ceiling. We're building it all this weekend. I'll see if Jason will do it, because I'm going to be pounding nails.

We got back up and running in about 4 hours. I ran electricity from my other house. We got all the piers in for this 3,000 sf plus addition. Today we start the real framing and I'll pick up some tapes to document it.

Not sore yet? If you aren't, you don't need a fitness regime - you already have one! I AM impressed!
It is still the lady on main and the SpringCam link brings up a Realplayer and a box saying "request not found"...*sigh* Guess it os still sleeping

Is anyone else having trouble getting sound for SpringCam? Or a picture which changes, for that matter. Do I have another "thing" to fix before I can see it like everyone else does, or do the rest of you have the same problems?

In fact, since the move, I have not seen anything except the private viewing of Terry's road trip to the hill country in the middle of the night and the viewing for the rest of the world the next day.

A lot of the front page of spring.net doesn't load right for me. I think the relative URL's aren't working with Netscape 4.5. Instead of a relative URL, I get something like http://cap.jpg, which doesn't work. Some of the pics and the "What's Cool" list have this kind of a problem.

I don't always have the sound on. If there's a time you want to see it, or one to see something in particular (I'll publish a list of choices), then call me on dialpad and I'll start the tape. I'm doing some stuff to raise funds on http://www.jefftv.com. Anyone here can get their own encoder and do shows, I'll set them up with instructions.

Oooh...Going to investigate the URL you posted. Any chance of making an all-Terry loop and running it non-stop like you did with Ree? I'd love to watch that (still wondering how to get a recent picture of you off that tape...*sigh*)
Which number on dialpad? Quailhouse or the other?

I'll see what I can find. I have two dialpads going, springnet and quailhouse. I'm usually at quailhouse during the day and springnet at night, our Cedar Creek Internet is down now, (too big a SW Bell phone bill to handle) but it would be cedarhouse if it was up. Otherwise, call me on my cellphone 512 699 4000.

You should get yourself a screensaver in the Cedar Creek office - that Win95 display has been burning all night :-)

I think the man is OverDosing on football this weekend. Politicans are passe.
Maybe he should point the webcam out the window and let us watch it flood!

Yeah, I've got to get the other webcam working, it's pretty boring watching my office in Cedar Creek! (except for occasional bursts of excitement)

The webcam is coming from three sources today, two cams in the Cedar Creek office and one from the Austin office showing local content. I'm going to revive the audio in the next few days, it's been dying a lot.

Note the new format on the http://www.spring.net/webcast page.
More pictures. Better sound. Better programming.
